Faded Bodies

Installation in six parts · in development

The project

How do you reconstruct a body that a system has systematically erased, when all that remains is collective memory?

Faded Bodies is an interdisciplinary installation in six parts: a series of paintings; a life-sized figure in handmade paper; a document-based installation; ceramic sculptures; a single-channel video; and a durational performance.

The project responds to systematic violence and the erasure of bodies, using radiological imagery as a language for absence and collective memory. In development; proposed for exhibition 2028–2029.

An installation in six parts.
